The PYP Inter-House Islamic Quiz was held on 5th January 2023 to build the Islamic character in our students through the knowledge of the Qur’an, the life (Seerah) of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and all Islamic learner profiles.
Grade 3, 4, and 5 students participated in this event, which involved four rounds.
In the first round, the participants identified the Islamic earner profiles related to the Ayah of the Quran or Hadith.
In the second round, the understanding of Islamic learner profiles was checked.
In the third round, the questions were based on the translation from Surah Ash-Shams (91 ) to Surah An-Naas(114).
And finally, in the ‘Rapid Fire’ round, the contestants were tested for their knowledge about the life of our beloved Prophet(SAW).
HAZRAT ABUBAKR R.A (Green House) achieved the 1st position, HAZRAT UTHMAN R.A (Blue House) stood at the 2nd position, HAZRAT ALI R.A (Red House) bagged the 3rd position with HAZRAT UMAR R.A (Yellow House) settling for the 4th.
The event helped the audience to enhance their Islamic knowledge and students enjoyed themselves competing and outsmarting each other but at the same time celebrating the well-deserved success of others.
