THE ONLY INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE WORLD SCHOOL IN BHOPAL

EPS aims to produce eminent professionals and entrepreneurs with strong ethical foundation who could master the expanding horizons of arts, literature, science & technology to help create a justice-driven, peaceful and prosperous world through academic excellence integrated with core Islamic values.

In order to achieve this, EPSites have access to best growth opportunities through cutting-edge teaching methodology and rigorous assessment. EPS also affords a platform for physical, mental and spiritual development for its students to become exemplary citizens with a sense of self-esteem, patriotism, compassion and tolerance.

Thus, three E’s of EPS: Education, Ethics and Enterprise signify our Mission Statement.

3 Es Of EPS

Education

Communities and nations built on intellectual capital often naturally become leaders. But we need to define education first.

A highly qualified couple with doctorates in medicine can be labelled as ‘educated’, but in a chilling incident in the North Indian state of Haryana, a doctor couple were reported to have slaughtered their younger son. They did this to make their elder son intelligent enough to qualify for a prestigious pre-medical exam after a spiritual guru advised them to.

Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah Be upon Him) always begged Allah to grant him ‘beneficial knowledge’. He never wanted to gain knowledge that included an element of harm. Why? The answer lies in the above incident. As doctors, these parents were highly knowledgeable, but they lacked vital beneficial values. Incidents like this are not rare in today’s highly superstitious society. Our best and brightest youth are committing suicide, becoming addicted to drugs, drowning in alcohol or resorting to violence because they receive only ‘knowledge’, not ‘beneficial knowledge’.

We at EPS provide ‘beneficial knowledge’ to our students to help them lead a balanced ethical life and ensure success in The Life After, insha’Allah.

Ethics

All faiths have ethical guidelines. So does Islam, which has a distinctive benchmark of accountability on The Day of Judgment. Without accepting this, one cannot be a Muslim and faces severe punishments, as explained in the Qur’an. This compels Muslims to lead an ethical life.

The Islamic characteristics of ethics include: truthfulness, honesty, integrity, generosity, versatility, courage, compassion, selflessness, and respect for parents, elders, neighbors (Muslim or non-Muslim) and divergent views. Along with the IB program, we work hard to instil these values into ourselves, our staff and our students so that we can collectively play a role in nation building, adding true value to our society and country.

Enterprise

Education combined with ethics will not automatically produce talented and creative people. Children should be exposed to realms of knowledge and the latest technology. By establishing EPS, our objective was never to start just another school. We wanted to set up something that did not yet exist. We dreamt of filling a vacuum that exists due to a lack of ‘beneficial’ knowledge, strong ethical values and ability to think and act out of the box.

Through a blend of restricted class size, highly motivated and dedicated team of teachers and support staff, personal attention, exposure to the latest developments worldwide and state-of-the-art labs, we believe we will produce top-class entrepreneurs, technocrats, lawyers, scientists and, above all, human beings.

Such citizens will make India a true superpower and a leader of nations.

Our children are the future of our society and our nation. It is our moral and national responsibility to ensure their success in this temporary life and the eternal life (Akhira’h). User must strive for their professional and moral development to groom them into professionals of exceptional caliber and practicing Muslims.

Society is changing at a rapid pace because of scientific and technological advancements. To face the challenges it poses, our kids must equip themselves not only with modern education on a cutting-edge methodology but also with Islamic values. Proper co-ordination of these two aspects of education is essential for the development of a dynamic and healthy society. Most schools generally fail to instill ethical values in their students. At EPS, students are prepared and readied for all obstacles and problems the society throws at them.

The other extreme has institutions providing only religious education where students remain segregated from the rest of the society and the changes occurring therein. The result is that people educated through this system very rarely have the courage and confidence to face the current challenges of life.

Realizing it as the need of the hour, we at EPS are making a sincere effort to impart integrated modern and Islamic education through state-of-the-art teaching methodologies and tools. Excellence and practicality is our prime focus and we put in our best efforts to achieve it. The EPS curriculum, teaching and assessment methodologies are on an International Baccalaureate (IB) pattern along with core concepts of Islam stemming from the Qur’an and examples of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah upon him).

The School is from Nursery till Grade 12th and the classes are conducted under the care and guidance of highly educated and motivated management and faculty. Insha’Allah with our combined efforts, EPS will rise to become a Centre for excellence in value-driven modern education.

EPS aims to produce eminent professionals and entrepreneurs with strong ethical foundation who could master the expanding horizons of arts, literature, science & technology to help create a justice-driven, peaceful and prosperous world through academic excellence integrated with core Islamic values.
