On 7th January 2023, Eastern Public School organised the Cambridge IGCSE Parents Orientation Program for the parents of Grade 8. The Senior School Principal (Dr Fraz Ahmed) and Head of the English Department (Mrs Sameena Khan) addressed the parents and spoke about the Cambridge IGCSE in general, its growth in India and its philosophy as well as its recognition in Madhya Pradesh, India and overseas. The session also emphasised the advantages of the IGCSE program for students, and also provided an overview of the school’s policies and procedures for the IGCSE program, including the subjects available and their content, assessments, grading system, etc. Parents further clarified their queries during the Q&A session. Overall, the Parents Orientation Program was a valuable and informative session for parents which equipped them with the knowledge to make informed decisions for their children. The programme also strengthened the school-parent partnership and communication, which are essential for the success of the students.
