In a fascinating exploration of history and heritage, EPS students embarked on an educational voyage to Rajasthan, the jewel of India, accompanied by Senior School teachers. From October 20/10/23 to October 25/10/23, explore the intriguing forts and palaces in Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, and Jaipur.
The trip offered a kaleidoscope of experiences, from the bustling bazaars of the Pink City The visit to the haunted village of Kuldhara in the city of Jaisalmer, the architectural marvels of Patwon Ki Haveli, and the historic Jaisalmer Fort was the highlight of the trip. Students enjoyed the vivid colors of traditional clothing as well as the elaborate workmanship of Rajasthani structures. Tall and proud, Amber Fort spoke stories of long-gone bravery. The adventure reached its zenith amidst the mesmerizing desert landscapes when students enjoyed thrilling ATV rides and Camel Desert safaris. As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sands with hues of orange and gold, the students stood in awe, experiencing the timeless allure of Rajasthan’s desert, a memory etched forever in their hearts. The trip also tantalized their taste buds with the exquisite flavors of Rajasthani cuisine; from spicy Dal Baati Churma to delectable Gatte ki Sabzi and Ghewar, to name a few, each dish was a culinary delight, showcasing the state’s culinary heritage. This exciting journey not only expanded students’ knowledge but also ignited an interest in Rajasthan’s colorful culture that would last a lifetime.
