Dr. Neha Siddiqui, serving as the Middle School Coordinator at Eastern Public School. A distinguished academic and passionate educator, Dr. Neha continues to exemplify dedication, leadership, and innovation in education.

Dr. Neha joined EPS in 2022 as a Middle School Global Perspectives Educator, and her deep-rooted commitment to academic excellence soon earned her the position of IBDP Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Coordinator in 2023. With a strong interdisciplinary foundation in globalization, governance, and public administration, and a Ph.D. in Social Sciences, she brings a rich academic lens to her teaching practices and leadership.

As TOK Coordinator, Dr. Neha has played a transformative role in shaping the IBDP learning journey. Under her guidance, the Cohort of 2024 & 2025 achieved bonus points across the board, a testament to her relentless support, personalized mentoring, and deep understanding of the TOK assessment rubric. Her approach cultivates critical thinkers who can question assumptions, analyze real-world contexts, and reflect deeply on the nature of knowledge.

A dedicated academic professional, she started her teaching career as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Humanities at Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU, formerly known as AISECT University), Bhopal, demonstrating leadership and curriculum development capabilities. She qualified for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test for Lectureship and Junior Research Fellow in 2009. She was awarded the very prestigious Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Gold Medal for securing the highest marks in the Bachelor of Arts at Barkatullah University, Bhopal.

While pursuing her Ph.D., she was engaged in extensive research and published a variety of national and international research papers. Her international research engagements include participation in the International Conference on Water, Environment, Energy and Society in collaboration with Texas A&M University, USA and a paper presentation titled “Youth and Society” at the International Conference on Youth India 2020: Unmask the Future: Opportunities and Challenges. She also presented papers focusing on social issues in various national seminars titled “Status of Women: Discourse and Practice”, “Empowerment of Women through Education”, “Psycho-Sociological Dimensions of Disaster Situations”, “Social Security and Globalization in India” and “Human Development in India after Globalization”.

Dr. Neha attended many PD sessions, the IB TOK Category 2 Workshop, and the Cambridge Global Perspectives workshop. Her ability to critically examine issues, draw connections between disciplines, and contextualize knowledge within real-world scenarios equips her to inspire students to question and understand the nature of knowledge in all its forms. Being a lifelong learner, she encourages students to question assumptions and consider multiple perspectives. She strives hard to make her students reflective, open-minded and principled thinkers who are prepared for the challenges of a rapidly changing world. Her zeal and commitment to work for the betterment of the community, along with her extensive research experience, supports her development to be appointed as a TOK Coordinator.

After demonstrating strong management skills and a deep passion for teaching and learning, she was appointed as an Associate Middle School Coordinator for Girls in March 2025. Her impressive personality has played a vital role in shaping and influencing young girls in the Middle School. Through effective leadership, she has created a structured yet nurturing environment that encourages academic and personal growth.

Neha’s love for teaching and learning allows her to connect with students on a deeper level, inspiring them to strive for excellence. By fostering a culture of curiosity and critical thinking, she empowers young girls to develop confidence and independence in their learning journey. This has contributed to her ability to guide and mentor girls effectively, ultimately positioning her for the role of Associate Middle School Coordinator Girls.

In June 2025, she took on the role of Middle School Coordinator, marking a significant milestone in her EPS journey. One of her proudest achievements in this capacity has been the outstanding performance of her students in her first IGCSE Global Perspectives batch, where out of 15 students, 10 secured A* & A grades. This remarkable result not only reflects the academic rigor she instills but also her ability to inspire excellence in every learner she mentors.

Dr. Neha Siddiqui’s unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds, her passion for interdisciplinary learning, and her continuous drive for academic innovation have made her an indispensable part of the EPS leadership team. She embodies the values of lifelong learning, resilience, and empowerment—qualities that she passes on to the students she leads.
