Early Years Coordinator

Ms. Ayesha Mahmood Siddique
Early Years Coordinator,
Eastern Public School

“The goal of early childhood should be to activate the child’s own natural desire to learn.”
– Maria Montessori

Ayesha Mahmood Siddique is an experienced and passionate educator who brings over a decade of dedicated service in early childhood education to her role as Early Years Coordinator. She holds a Master’s degree in English Literature, a Bachelor’s degree in English and Sociology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed), blending a strong academic foundation with a deep love for language, human connection, and the art of teaching.

Her journey at Eastern Public School began as an Islamic Educator. Over time, her commitment to student development and her strengths as a facilitator led to her transition into the Primary Years Programme, and eventually into the Early Years Programme. It was within this space—working with children aged 3 to 7—that Ayesha found her true calling.

Ayesha has also served as the Grade Level Coordinator for Grade 1, where she worked closely with teachers and parents to ensure the smooth delivery of the curriculum and fostered an environment that was both supportive and challenging for the students. In this role, Ayesha worked diligently to bridge the gap between early childhood learning and the primary school years, ensuring that students’ transitions were seamless and that their developmental needs were met in a holistic manner.
At EPS, she has also served as a PYP Exhibition Mentor, a role that reflects her belief in student voice, ownership, and inquiry-driven learning. Her approach is grounded in creating joyful, meaningful, and inclusive environments where children feel empowered to explore, express, and engage at their own pace.

Ayesha’s vision is clear: to make learning a lifelong journey for every child. She leads with a calm presence, creative energy, and a deep desire to see her students and colleagues grow, glow, rise, and shine.
